Newly Developed AI news anchor – Introduced by China

A Chinese news agency has introduce the new way to anchor their news channel. They introduce the first artificial intelligence (AI) news anchor on fifth World Internet Conference in east China’s Zhejiang province. The newly introduce news anchor is nothing but a machine or a robot you can say. Which has multiple functionalities like “think” and “demonstrate” intelligently in a manner similar to humans.

The news anchor, based on the latest Artificial Intelligence technology.  It is a male image with a voice, facial expressions and actions of a real person.  He has AI for Learning from live broadcasting videos by himself and can read texts as naturally as a professional news anchor.

On Thursday, 8th November 2018, at the World Internet Conference in the country’s eastern Zhejiang Province where the first “English Artificial Intelligence” were debuted. The company said in an online statement, the new anchor learns from live videos and is able to work 24 hours a day, reporting via social media and on the Xinhua website. He use to learns from live broadcasting videos by himself and can read texts as naturally as a professional news anchor.

The Artificial Intelligence anchor said in his first broadcast “The development of the media industry calls for continuous innovation and deep integration with the international advanced technologies,”.

“I will work tirelessly to keep you informed as texts will be typed into my system uninterrupted. I look forward to bringing you the brand new news experiences.”

The company named “Xinhua” developed this robot AI anchor with Chinese search engine and has posted two more reports from the AI broadcaster on its Twitter feed. From Which One covers China’s announcement that it will launch its first Mars probe in 2020 and ends with the AI anchor paying tribute to Chinese journalists.

The News AI anchor said , “Before we go, I’d like to send my good wishes to all of the journalists across the country. As an AI anchor under development I know there is a lot for me to improve,”.
