Mueller Report Effects On Trump

Mueller Report Effects On Trump

Mueller’s Report Effects On Trump will be seen shortly or will it? People in the USA and all over the world are itching to see if US President Donald Trump had help from Russia to win the US Presidential election. But will the report of Mr. Mueller be made available to the public and the world in general?

It Seems Very Unlikely

Newly appointed attorney-general, William Barr, has said that he has no intention of making available to the public, the report of Mr. Mueller. Instead, Mr. Barr has said that he will give a summary of his own, about the findings by Mr. Mueller. And this is what would be made public and submitted to the US Congress.

But a leading Democrat said that if required, he would go to court to ensure that former FBI director Robert Mueller’s final report would be made public. Democrat Adam Schiff said, “We will obviously subpoena the report, we will bring Bob Mueller in to testify before Congress, we will take it to court if necessary. And in the end, I think the department understands they’re going to have to make this public.”

What Do People Have To Say About This Report?

“I urge the attorney general to perform his duty to country and Constitution, ensure that this report is made available to a Congress and the public, and resist any attempt by the White House to interfere.” – Steny Hoyer, House Majority Whip.

“The attorney general said he intends to provide as much information as possible. As I have said previously, I sincerely hope he will do so as soon as he can, and with as much openness and transparency as possible.” – Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Leader.

“A.G. Barr has confirmed the completion of the special counsel investigation. We look forward to getting the full Mueller report and related materials. Transparency and the public interest demand nothing less. The need for public faith in the rule of law must be the priority.” – Jerrold Nadler, House Judiciary Committee Chairman.

“I fully expect the Justice Department to release the special counsel’s report to this committee and to the public without delay and to the maximum extent permitted by law.” – Doug Collins, House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member.

Where Is The Report Of Mr. Mueller Now?

In the hands of attorney-general, William Barr! He would be reviewing the long awaited report of former FBI director Robert Mueller. “I remain committed to as much transparency as possible, and I will keep you informed as to the status of my review,” Barr wrote. Robert Mueller has carried out an investigation for almost two years, into whether or not the Russians had interfered with the 2016 US Presidential elections.

And how is the White House reacting to this? In a Tweet on Twitter made by Sarah Sanders, White House Press Secretary, “The next steps are up to Attorney General Barr, and we look forward to the process taking its course. The White House has not received or been briefed on the Special Counsel’s report.”

Can The White House Get A ‘Sneak Preview’?

Obviously, the big question going around is, will the US President be able to get a look at the report before it is submitted? In a joint statement made by Chuck Schumer (Senate Democratic leader) and Nancy Pelosi (House Speaker): “It is imperative for Mr. Barr to make the full report public and provide its underlying documentation and findings to Congress. Attorney General Barr must not give President Trump, his lawyers or his staff any ‘sneak preview’ of Special Counsel Mueller’s findings or evidence, and the White House must not be allowed to interfere in decisions about what parts of those findings or evidence are made public.”

What Does The US President Have To Say About The Mueller Report?

On March 20th, US President Donald Trump said,

“Let it come out. Let people see it.”
